For the first time ever, CAKE PICNIC and Cotton are pairing up to bring you the softest, sweetest gathering yet: a super special edition of CAKE PICNIC at The Flower Fields in Carlsbad!

Join us for our most colorful and coziest picnic yet! A feast for all of the senses, this event celebrates the joy of cake, friendship, and the beauty of spring in full bloom. Surrounded by thousands of ranunculus flowers in bloom, let’s celebrate cake in all of its forms. Pillowy-soft, silky-smooth, and multi-layered. All words describing cake… and cotton. Cotton brings softness to every moment, just like the perfect slice of cake. It’ll be a feast for the ages with the fabric of our lives. This will be such a special day that we’ll remember forever and talk about for months and months.

Let’s turn the fields into the sweetest picnic imaginable – bring a cake, and we’ll create a cake buffet of our dreams with over a hundred cakes to choose from and enjoy.

  • Your “ticket” is the email confirmation of your purchase from Squarespace. We will be using this as the “ticket” at gate entry to give you your event wristband. Please ignore the “pending” - it will be marked as fulfilled after the event. Thank you!

  • All cakes must be bigger than 6 inches in width.

    If your cake is 6 wide, it must be taller than 5 inches.

    For cakes wider than 6 inches (7-13+ inches), your cake must be taller than 3 inches.

  • No, you can buy a cake from your favorite bakery! Please only bring cake that you love and would want to personally eat. We only want to eat good cakes! (cake must be bigger than 6 inches)

  • YES! The more cake the merrier! Let’s have a cake party to talk about!

  • Yes, please enjoy and explore as much of The Flower Fields after CAKE PICNIC!

  • Parking will be limited! Please plan to arrive early to secure a parking spot, use Uber/Lyft, and/or carpool!
