WANT TO HOST?
I absolutely love that the idea of CAKE PICNIC is sparking joy and inspiring people to gather, bake, and build community in their own cities. While official CAKE PICNIC tour stops are produced and hosted by this team, you don’t need to wait for us to bring the magic to your town.
If you’d like to host your own cake-filled gathering, here are a few tips to get you started:
Keep it simple and joyful. Ask each guest to bring a whole cake to share - homemade, store-bought, sentimental, chaotic, elegant, whatever you love. There are no rules, just cake.
Find a comfy, crumb-friendly space. Parks, gardens, backyards, rooftops - wherever people can lay down a blanket and break into cake together.
Set the tone. Invite your friends, encourage cake stories or cake tags, play a little music, and let the vibe be relaxed and generous.
NAMING AND BRANDING
We ask that you do not use CAKE PICNIC in the name or promotion of your event unless it’s an official stop on the tour. “CAKE PICNIC” is a registered trademark used exclusively for events curated and produced by our team.
Do not use NO CAKE, NO ENTRY as it is the official tagline of CAKE PICNIC.
Please do not use videos or photos from official CAKE PICNIC tour stop events to market or promote your event.
And if you do end up hosting a cake event, we’d love to see it! Tag @cakepicnictour as the inspiration or use #cakepicnicinspired so we can cheer you on from afar. Thank you for spreading the sweetness!
OFFICIAL TOUR STOP
If you’re so excited about CAKE PICNIC in your city that you would want it as a part of the official tour stop, we would be open to considering it! Please send an email to elisa@cakepicnictour.com and danny@cakepicnictour.com with the following information:
Who you are, what your role is, what you could contribute to making a new tour stop happen
What resources are available to help (sponsoring, venue connections, etc)
Any other relevant information to make a case for a new tour stop
Please note that I receive hundreds of messages daily. I will do my best to circle back with you.
